What kinds of information does Chamberlin Calls collect?
Chamberlin Calls does collect information (i.e. email, name, location) about the user during the purchasing process.
Chamberlin Calls does collect information on our users' Web usage ("Web Usage Information"), which remains anonymous. Cookies are only used when a prospective Chamberlin Calls user arrives at a payment site from a partner site. This cookie is used to greet the prospective user and keep track of them during the purchasing process. After the user either completes the payment transaction or leaves the site, the cookie no longer tracks any user behavior.
How is the information used by Chamberlin Calls?
Chamberlin Calls only collects information on user behavior from the Web Usage only on this site.
Web Usage Information is used in the aggregate to determine where users are accessing annotations, and to determine which annotations users are accessing and what kind of content they find compelling. This information is used to improve the placement and content of annotations.
Web Usage Information are used in the aggragate to create reports and summaries for internal use and external sales. Chamberlin Calls does not include names or e-mail addresses in such reports, as they are never collected during the download process.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Chamberlin Calls does not use or disclose Web Usage Information or Registration Information to any third parties.
Chamberlin Calls does provide such information, in aggregated form, to existing and potential advertisers and Annotators, and to the press. Accessing, updating or deleting any information collected about you by Chamberlin Calls is unnecessary as no personal information is retained about users therefore there is no facility for correcting such information.
